Welcome to Aero Maintenance!
Once you've visited us at Aero Maintenance Flight Center and completed your rental agreement, we'll assign you a Flight Instructor and schedule your first flight! Here’s some additional information you may find helpful.
Getting Started
We recommend taking a Discovery Flight. This gives you the opportunity to take the flight controls for the very first time with one of our certified flight instructors. The discovery flight gives you a taste of what it’s like to feel the freedom of flying with all the fun and excitement that getting a pilot’s license provides.

Schedule Pointe
Get started by logging on to our online scheduling system, https://www.schedulepointe.com/ .
Click “Schedule” then “Entire”. Locate your instructor in the far right column, match their availability with an available aircraft and book your lesson!
Schedule Pointe will only allow you to schedule lessons during our office hours. Any lessons before or after will have to be added by your instructor.
Scheduling is available 30 days out - be sure to be proactive with booking to ensure instructor and aircraft availability!
Private Pilot Training
Average cost per lesson (including aircraft rental + 2 hours instructor time) : $215-375
Instructor rate per hour $60

How long will it take: Most pilots get their license within one year. But examples below could drastically change this.

Rental Rates: $105-$165 depending on aircraft.
You’ll hear from many people that “the more frequent you fly, the less it will cost”. On average, most students get their private pilot’s license with a cost of $13,000 – $15,000 in total.

Ground School
We offer multiple sessions of Private Pilot ground school year round. This is an 8 week course that meets twice per week. Tuition covers the course length and unlimited subsequent refresher classes. Current tuition fees are as follows:
Private Pilot Ground School: $350
Private Pilot Kit (Optional): $245
Green River Students
Aero Maintenance Flight Center has partnered with Green River College to offer students a way to build college credits while working towards their aviation goals.
